“The steering is tight, hard to turn the front wheels. It makes a whining & grinding noise when turning. It sounds like it's rubbing against something in the steering column. I've had it to 3 mech's, plus I called Buick. They all said they didn't know what the problem was. It seems this is a problem with many 2006 lacross' . This happens from 0 to 60 MPH”

Sounds like something isn't right in the steering column. Has there been a problem with the steering with these cars? We tried steering wheel fluid but it made no difference.”

This started to happen from the 1st year of ownership, but it was only during the winter months and the frequency was very rare (1 or two times). Recently it started to happen all the time. Looked up the internet and appears that many people are having the same problem. Contacted Buick and reported the problem.”
