NHTSA complaint #10236778, filed 2008-08, 53,751 miles“2004 Cadillac CTS. The trunk lid fell on my head. I have been having headaches ever since. I probably will go to the doctor to make sure that I did not crack my skull. The lid came down with such a force that was unbelievable!”
NHTSA complaint #10250665, filed 2008-12“While reading mycarstats, I to have experienced the trunk on my 04 CTS slamming down all the time. This has not caused any injury to me thus far. Hopefully this can be resolved before further injuries occur.”
NHTSA complaint #10251645, filed 2008-12“The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac CTS. The contact stated that while removing an object out of the trunk, the trunk closed on the contacts back independently. The failure recurred numerous times. The contact sustained injuries to her back but did not require medical attention. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,000. Updated 04/29/16”
