“Back plastic piece that covers my license plate fell off, I have 2004 Cadillac CTS and I been looking all over and im not the only one with this issue. To replace this piece costs around $1200.00. How many people does this have to happen to before Cadillac takes care of this problem. Its a Cadillac a piece of plastic on a $40,000 car should not just fall off.”
NHTSA complaint #10352470, filed 2010-08, 56,000 miles“I got the car tooken but they dont want gave it back I dont now the reson can u guys get it bk thank u with my full respect going out to u n ur workers”
NHTSA complaint #11161743, filed 2018-12, 1 miles“This incident was the first of 5 times that the trunk lid, when completely opened, blew shut on my head. My boyfriend has been hit 2 times. When it's open all the way, it's at an approximate 90 degree angle and the least amount of wind will cause it to blow shut. The trunk lid itself is extremely heavy and I'm fairly strong. I actually have scar tissue on my head from being hit. I didn't seek medical attention but there were a couple of times that I was almost knocked out. I love my car and would get another Cadillac CTS in a heartbeat if it wasn't for this problem.”
NHTSA complaint #10748400, filed 2015-08, 700 miles“The vehicle ran over a deer while driving between 60-65 MPH and the entire roof flexed around the sunroof. The body shop indicated this occurred because the roof was not enforced properly at the factory.”
NHTSA complaint #10076240, filed 2004-06, 3,000 miles“As I was driving on the highway, at 60 MPH, my sunroof, which was closed, flew off of my car! No warning. No reason to do so. It just flew right off. Thankfully, no-one was hurt and everyone was able to move out of the way. I was driving west on 90 right before the lagrange rd/301 exit in ohio.”
