“I was involved in a crash that when hit the vehicle turned off and airbags did not work. I was hit twice on driver rear and passenger rear, spun out and no airbags deployed. I was crossing over a city road from a stop sign, was hit at 60 MPH. I was doing 20 MPH going straight across from the stop sign.”

NHTSA complaint #11300547, filed 2020-01, 112,000 miles

“Takata inflators. I have a loud cracking noise in several places behind the dash. Sometimes it happens when the car is still but mostly while driving on interstates. The loudest cracking noise is in the center of the dash. With the takata airbag recall I am afraid that this could be part of that. The car only has 11,000miles on it but the cracking has occurred since the car was new.”

NHTSA complaint #10949661, filed 2017-02, 11,000 miles

“I was driving on I-75 in monroe, michigan. When another vehicle ventured or steered into my lane, where my 2007 Cadillac CTS was cut off/bumped causing a frontal and back impact to the vehicle. The car bags did not deploy, the brakes did not stop the car and the ignition switch locked. According to the insurance company, the car was a total loss.”

NHTSA complaint #10576322, filed 2014-04, 127,435 miles

“Was driving and service brake assist message came on two days ago along with the ABS t/c light on the dash. I had no idea what it meant so I've kept driving. About an hour ago I was getting ready to park into my garage and the brakes would not work and I almost crashed into a parked car. Again the service brake assist light came on. I'm 7 months pregnant and this is my only transportation. I'm not looking to get into an accident due to my brakes failing. My service air bags message also comes up and even with a passenger in the car it doesn't state that the passenger air bag is on. …”

NHTSA complaint #11082256, filed 2018-03, 119,230 miles

“In december of 2010 there was a recall for the passenger side air bag sensor. That recall was completed on july 7, 2011. I bought this used car with very low mileage on june 15, 2013. On august 7, 2015 the air bag sensor went out. The dealership said that since the recall had already been done they would not do it for free a second time. It sounds to me like the recall was replaced with a faulty part as well. I am very disappointed with this Cadillac and will never buy another one. I have had nothing but problems since I drove it off the lot.”
