“I was driving on I-75 in monroe, michigan. When another vehicle ventured or steered into my lane, where my 2007 Cadillac CTS was cut off/bumped causing a frontal and back impact to the vehicle. The car bags did not deploy, the brakes did not stop the car and the ignition switch locked. According to the insurance company, the car was a total loss.”

NHTSA complaint #10714137, filed 2015-05, 81,000 miles

“Was driving and service brake assist message came on two days ago along with the ABS t/c light on the dash. I had no idea what it meant so I've kept driving. About an hour ago I was getting ready to park into my garage and the brakes would not work and I almost crashed into a parked car. Again the service brake assist light came on. I'm 7 months pregnant and this is my only transportation. I'm not looking to get into an accident due to my brakes failing. My service air bags message also comes up and even with a passenger in the car it doesn't state that the passenger air bag is on. …”

“Hello, I have had my brakes pulsate (with a grinding noise) then fail while making a hard right turn on several occasions since last summer. This only happens at slow speeds such as pulling into a parking spot.fortunately, I have not hit anything or anyone. I have had every recall fixed on my car up to date. I work next-door to a Cadillac dealership and john, my service writer told me there are no recalls or bulletins. I am very conscious about how and where I park. Please help get the word out to this problem. …”
