“The display on the radio will only show one word of the artist or song. The dealership said that this was a flaw of the 2007 CTS radio and there was nothing that could be done. I contacted Cadillac and the restated what the dealership said and based her conclusion on the dealerships testing on one other 07 CTS. This is disappointing since I paid an extra $1,500.00 for the bose system.”
NHTSA complaint #10221058, filed 2008-03, 7,000 miles“I received a recall on my 2007 Cadillac CTS recall # 07204 in february 2008. I called the dealer and they don't have parts to fix the recall. It has now been 2 months. Help.”
NHTSA complaint #10224068, filed 2008-04“The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac CTS. When the vehicle was first purchased, the contact noticed that it would shake when starting. In addition, the radio and cruise control failed. The dealer stated that there were no failures with the vehicle. While driving 10-15 MPH into a parking lot, the contact noticed black smoke under the hood of the vehicle. She pulled over, raised the hood, and flames engulfed the vehicle. The police contained the fire and filed a report. The failure and current mileages were 27,800.”
