“Difficulty refueling the vehicle at the gas pump. Gas nozzle keeps shutting off during the refueling process, so it takes a long time to refill the gas tank. Cadillac isn't quite sure what is wrong and the vehicle has been at the dealer for more than a week waiting on a part. Vehicle only has 7,500 miles on it. This is my first Cadillac and probably my last!”

Reading about this, it is a very common warning that causes the stability sensors to fail and increase likelihood of a crash for something that is supposed to be a saftey feature on this vehicle. This creates an unnecessary saftey hazard that Cadillac will not admit to or fix. This seems to only happen when sitting still at a stop light or stop sign.”
NHTSA complaint #11387622, filed 2021-01, 60,000 miles“The problem I am having with my car is a safety issue and their is not a safety recall on my model 2017 but their is one on model 2018 with same issue as mine, the issue I have is every time I fill my gas tank full or halft tank and when I live the gas station hit the road when I stop at a red light or stop sigh the car start shaking and turn off, I have to put the car on park and turn back on and start driving, car shakes while driving and at next red light it turns off again i wait until lights turns green and turn it back on. …”
