Example complaints
Steering: “Less than one month old, not even 200 miles, had a VSS fault. Took to dealer they said it was a steering issue and fixed, so they said. Less than a month again same issue VSS fault steering Yaw sensor. Rook to dealer again they had bike about a month to fix and replaced many parts and no issue since, however this issue happens when making hard/deep left turns, now I have learned that. So when I ride I take it easy on these turns and cornering.”
NHTSA complaint #11472460, filed 2022-07Brakes: “ABS intermittingly engaging when taking left corners. I have almost crashed twice now as the brakes are unexpectedly locking up while taking a mild curve at 35 mph. I have had the SAS reset once already and I am still having this problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11525440, filed 2023-06Electrical system: “i was told that my ryker was safe to drive in to have the recall work completed and then my vehichle quit working because of the damage to the vehichle. i dont understand why the burdan to have my vehichle repaired is on me. I was told that thier roadside assistance would only cover a small percentage of the cost to have the vehichle towed and i would owe $745 just to get my vehichle to the dealer. If there is a known risk for the vehichle part to malfunction and lose power and not be able to start, then how is this considered safe to drive 100+ miles to the nearest dealer? …”
NHTSA complaint #11499919, filed 2023-01Suspension: “When making left turns the rear wheel feels like it wobbles then the other day when making a left turn from a stop the right front wheel felt like the brakes where engaging then a little farther down the road making another left turn and the right front brake engauged again and a vss fault occured anf the bike went into limp home mode when I check the codes I get c006c and c0063 which is a yaw sensonsor and a steering sensor. It's a scary feeling to have your right front wheel grab when your turning left. …”
