“I went to turn the car on and it wouldn't start. As I tried to take the key out of the ignition it locked itself in and have not been able to remove it.I was going to attempt the car jump but I couldn't put the car in neutral to move it to a position to get a jump because the gear shift is also locked. It is impossible to move this car as is.”

NHTSA complaint #11353394, filed 2020-09, 113,000 miles

“The vehicle stalled after I stopped the car at a stoplight (city street). Before that (10 mins or so) it was loosing its acceleration power and the engine light came on. I had it towed and the repair place said it was a manufacturing defect and that I would have to have the whole engine replaced. There was a faulty timing chain component.”

NHTSA complaint #10876276, filed 2016-06, 118,000 miles

“I was driving and came to a stop light while I noticed tge hood was smoking when I pulled over to the side and popped my hood I realized my engine was on fire very small by coolent thermostat when looking under the car I realised there was a puddle of oil”

NHTSA complaint #11185803, filed 2019-03, 134,000 miles

“Twice now I've lost all power to my car driving down the highway. I can not remove the key, there is no power to anything. I replaced the battery after the 1st time. Exact same thing happened again.”

NHTSA complaint #11098026, filed 2018-05, 170,000 miles

“I would be driving down the highway and the car's dials would not work then start bouncing around. Then the power steering message would read out, I would loose power steering. If I slowed down it would take more of an effort to get the car up to speed and the car would jump in to gears hard. It wouldn't shift smooth. None of the gauges would work, and if the A/C was on it wouldn't work. When it started back working, the engine lock light would stay on. And the car wouldn't shift in and out of gear with out jerking.”
