“I was driving down the road and the headlights just quit. This time I had high beams but no low beams. The next time I drove the car I had no low or high beams. The last time I drove the car both lights worked as I started the car but stopped working within about 2 minutes.”

NHTSA complaint #10616236, filed 2014-07, 139,562 miles

“My automatic shifter gets stuck in park. I already had the dealership replace the shifter a few years ago but the problem still remains. Once I start the car, the system does not tell the shifter to unlock and therefore I can not get it in gear. I have to play with it several time. It may take less than 1 minute to engage while at other times it may take 5 minutes. I have read in the Corvette forum that it is happening to quite a few Corvette owners. This is happening much more frequently than before.”

NHTSA complaint #11120912, filed 2018-08, 68,000 miles

“Driving at night on my way home, my low beams headlights when out. High beams still worked, so when I got home started checking the fuses and relays but they were all good, after 2 hours I restarted the car and low beams were working fine, left the car running for 20 minutes and headlights when out again. Appears to be a heating problem at the fuse box. I believe this is a safety issue that GM needs to fix.”

NHTSA complaint #10469057, filed 2012-08, 90,200 miles

“4/2015 car was at dealership for body work, while it was there, recall work was supposed to be done, GM recall 123146, I was told that this was done and it was reported to GM as work done fast forward to 8/2018 car was driven at night and loss of low beam headlights was experienced, same thing happened next day. These are the symptoms of the recall before the fix upon further investigation it was found that the recall was not done. I have pictures of the fuse box and I have pictures of what its supposed to look like when the fix is done.”

NHTSA complaint #11119620, filed 2018-08, 86,000 miles

“Driving at night on my way home, my low beam headlights when out. High beams still worked, so when I got home I started checking the fuses and relays but they were all good. After 2 hours when the car cooled down I restarted the car and low beams were working fine, left the car running for 20 minutes and headlights when out again. Appears to be a heating problem at the fuse box. I believe this is a safety issue that can result in fatalities if GM doesn't fix.”
