“While traveling approximately 40 MPH within a left curve, the vehicle suddenly lost traction in the rear wheels sending the vehicle across the opposite lane and into the oncoming traffic shoulder. Car was traveling on a warm sunny day on a two lane country road. It is my best guess that the vehicle applied rear brakes as a means of active handling. I strongly believe if the brakes did not electronically apply, the vehicle would not have lost control.”

NHTSA complaint #11388422, filed 2021-01, 57,000 miles

“I am driving at night all of a sudden my lights go out and will not come back on..... Come to find out the fuse box gets to hot and the wires inside are affected causing it to fail the dealer says its not under warranty and I think this should be a recall.this almost caused me to crash into someone. If I did get hurt because of this I would file a law suit.”

NHTSA complaint #10596502, filed 2014-06, 89,125 miles

“I have owned the car for 4 years and the car has had starting issues over the course of all 4 years. To get the car to start I often have to disconnect the connection from the negative battery post wait a moment and reconnect. This re-sets something in the starting sequence and the car starts sometimes.”

NHTSA complaint #10615036, filed 2014-07, 30,000 miles

“While driving on I 40 in memphis, my 2005 Corvette initiated a warning to service activew handling . The warnings then indicated a flat tire, and airbag fault, which all cleared. The warnings are erroneous, and can cause the system to react, shutting down traction control, slowing the vehicle and other measures, without warning. The driver door will not open unless emergency open is utilized.”

NHTSA complaint #10410629, filed 2011-07, 91,000 miles

“Since shortly after the car was new, I have had repeated problems with the airbag malfunction indicator lighting up. I have taken the car to various authorized dealers numerous times to have the problem repaired. In all cases, the problem seems to get corrected but then reappears anywhere from several weeks to several months later. It's my understanding that when the airbag malfunction indicator is illuminated the airbag system is non-functional.”
