“I was driving to my family's home on christmas, when my car suddenly began to smell like burnt rubber inside of the car. It was raining on that day. Suddenly the cars AC, or h vac did not work anymore. Upon googling things of what it could be, I found out that the resistor and blower motor had been burnt do to be allowing water to enter the blower motor panel from the outside of the car. Upon looking at my blower motor and resistor I found evident burn marks on them. …”
NHTSA complaint #10816331, filed 2015-12, 135,000 miles“Fuel leak in front of drivers side rear wheel. This is completely unacceptable in an 8 year old vehicle. The fuel line corroded and leaked heavily, cost me $254.22 to replace this faulty gas line. I am obviously not the only person this has happened to. I have also had all the other typical problems such as the key will not release from ignition, bad rotors, loose front end bushings and excessive front end vibration over typical street cracks. Broken drivers side interior door handle, cracked windshield...... Updated 10/22/2014”
NHTSA complaint #10585601, filed 2014-04, 180,000 miles“I was driving with my sister on rt 9 in lakewood nj in stop and go traffic. We heard a loud pop that sounded like a gun shot or something that hit my roof. I drove a few blocks to try and find a spot to take a look, when I opened my inside sunroof shade I saw that my sunroof was shattered. I called the lakewood police and they took a report. I will be getting it fixed today, I have to pay $100.00 deductible. I'm just glad we were not hurt. I went on line and saw that quite a few car's of other makes and models have had this same problem. That is how I found your website. …”
