“I purchased this vehicle for suburban kia in troy. On the third day of driving it, I noticed gasoline smells coming into the car. I took the vehicle back on 1/18/16 and they were not able to find out the cause of the gas smell coming into the car. I will be taking it back on 1/21/16 when they can keep it all day. The smells come when the care is in motion. Enough fumes to take my breath away. I have to drive with the windows open.”

NHTSA complaint #10821050, filed 2016-01, 71,400 miles

“From stop I would step on the gas, and the car would slam into gear. I have had to have the electrical cluster replaced $300, and the fuel control replaced (car always smelt like gas) now they think this slam is the tcc valve in the transmission which is anywhere from $600-$900. Also the steering knuckle makes a loud noise on sharp turns. Whats next? Are any of these issues recalls?”

NHTSA complaint #10508694, filed 2013-04, 90,000 miles

“I am complaining about the just purchased whic was vavoline when placed in vehicle engine thermal viscosity breakdown happened and engine block seized. Restarted after oil change same oil engine block seized. With what I'm reading and watching the third or fourth vehicle towed from the neighborhood maybe it's the motor oil. I understand that high heat breaks down rapidly with soy based lubricants. I understand you might not be able to admit this or are unaware but could you please keep on file.”

NHTSA complaint #11173352, filed 2019-01, 172,000 miles

“The temperature gauge, fuel gauge, and speedometer have gone completely haywire! The temperature gauge goes to hot and buzzes but my car is no where near hot. I don't know if my tank is full or empty because the gauge is always on the bottom. I don't know how fast I'm going because my speedometer is stuck on 120. The dealership knows that this is a common problem but they insist on charging $500 or more to fix it...just own up and do the recall!!”

NHTSA complaint #10446940, filed 2012-02, 161,500 miles

“When I am driving my vehicle the gear shift the stick on it's own.I hear a pop sound when it happens.this happens when I am in motion and driving the car..I have already taken my car in for a recall last year to replace a ignition switch.it has been happening for a few weeks and I thought it was normal, until I was in traffic and it moved on it's own. Also last year I had to have the fuel injector replaced on my car.it had been leaking gas for a while.the dealership told me I would have to pay to have it fixed.there weren't any recalls during the time.”
