“My rearview camera froze while I was reversing. Also when I put the vehicle into drive, the screen stayed on the backup camera after it eventually unfroze, showing the road behind me, it was very distracting. I have no photos or videos available because I was driving no warning lamps were visible, no auditory signals were present”
NHTSA complaint #11737987, filed 2026-05“Back-Up Camera has malfunctioned several times. We received a RECALL NOTICE on it. We took it in for replacement today and were denied recall replacement as they said it worked today. But it has repeatedly malfunctioned while driving. We get a BLANK/BLACK screen with a WARNING to SERVICE CAMERA. It has also been shown with a blurry/fuzzy screen where you cannot make out the images at all. Dealer denied recall even though we have a letter with our VIN number for recall.”
NHTSA complaint #11767857, filed 2026-09“Water is pooling in the trunk of my car. I took it to the chevy dealership for a diagnostic and today, they told me water is leaking into the car because of a faulty seal. I just did some research online and have learned that this has been a common issue. I read that warranties have been extended to cover this defect. I would like chevy to extend my warranty to cover this defect, which they've known about for quite some time. As they know, water pooling in a car can lead to other problems.”
NHTSA complaint #11706649, filed 2025-12“There have been numerous days that I press brake to start car in which it does not start. I wait until it will. The trunk seems unaligned as there's more gap on right side. Carpet in front floor is not correct as I have to tuck under trim by door constantly. Backup camera seems distorted and has been not correct in lines to park but remains distorted by the unclear view and awkward angle. While driving at times it feels like going into another gear and it's an automatic. The breaking at times is very hard and pushing passengers forward.”
NHTSA complaint #11741882, filed 2026-06“Car reading codes- Po56z-00 C0609-08 U0151-00 No A/C Front bumper clips do not stay tight Car reading low voltage Less than 14,000 miles with all these issues already, what a nightmare.”
