“When I get to a stop light the auto stop activates. When the car goes to turn back on it trips up and dies completely. The steering wheel locks and the car won't turn back on. I have to wait for about 15 minutes until the car will turn on again. It doesn't happen every time. It usually happens when I am at a red light for longer than 30 seconds.”
NHTSA complaint #11339500, filed 2020-07, 56,780 miles“I was driving on freeway at 70mph and suddenly I lost power and message showed up engine power reduced and the check engine light and the traction control light. I almost crashed. After doing some research online I found out that alot of other people had the same exact issue and there is a huge forum about it. How come Chevrolet didn't issue a recall?”
NHTSA complaint #11210004, filed 2019-05, 5,200 miles“While driving the vehicle I came to a complete stop while waiting to make a left turn on a busy city street and the vehicle shut off therefore remaining in the intersection from on coming traffic, in other terms the vehicle died on me. I was unable to do anything due to no current .this is not the first time this has happened with this vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11183693, filed 2019-03, 35,000 miles“Check engine light is on I have taken it to dealership and it has been diagnosed and fixed it is the battery modulater sensor (if I spelled it right) the same code comes up. Dealership states its a manufacturer issue or system issue and a fix is being worked on its been a couple of months all they can do is reset the sensor but it keeps coming on.”
NHTSA complaint #11113712, filed 2018-07, 10,000 miles“It takes a while for the car to accelerate on highways or streets. With my foot to the floor of the accelerator, it gets to 20 MPH in about 15-20 seconds which prevents any pickup. Only thing that helps the pickup is when I use octane booster in the tank and it'll drive as it should with pickup for a very short period (5 miles) otherwise the acceleration is extremely laggy with no pickup.”
