“My truck has already had a shimmy feel in the transmission around 60 MPH it shook and would slip gears. I just had it get worse this week. I also noticed that the front end is not shaking really bad from 60-75 MPH on newly paved roads. The truck used to drive like a dream now its driving so rough and there is something going on!”

NHTSA complaint #11415698, filed 2021-05, 10,800 miles

“Vehicle bought new from dealer dec 2020. I decided to replace some lights so, I lowered the spare tire for better access while replacing a light bulb. I noticed everywhere the spare tire and the frame cross members come into contact the paint has rubbed away and rust has begun to form. Also, the sidewall of the spare tire has corresponding spots where the rubber has worn away. This leads me to have concerns as to the spare tire's availability in the event of a flat.”

NHTSA complaint #11407413, filed 2021-04, 2,838 miles

“On August 17,2025 I was driving on the freeway when I heard a loud bang and I thought my tire blew but it also felt like I hit something, however I pulled over and tires were ok. I proceeded to go again and this time if can feel my rear tire lock up and then let go. I pulled into a parking lot and my tires had some strips on them as if they where dragged.”

NHTSA complaint #11682086, filed 2025-08

“While driving down the interstate hi-way, I heard a pop and my truck started to swerve into the adjoining lane. I turned the steering wheel in the opposite direction and the truck started making a rubbing sound and very hard to steer. I finally got it to the side of the hi-way and seen my passenger side front wheel leaning in. The upper balljoint/control arm broke. Luckily no-one was in the lane next to me or it would have caused a serious crash.”

NHTSA complaint #11524348, filed 2023-05

“While driving at highway speed, my vehicle developed a serious transmission problem. At approximately 75 mph, it suddenly lost the ability to maintain speed and dropped to about 55 mph despite throttle input. Engine RPM increased significantly and the vehicle had greatly reduced propulsion. Normal operation temporarily returned after the vehicle was shut off and restarted. The vehicle has also experienced harsh shifting, vibration, limp-mode behavior, a check-engine light, and I reported a momentary wheel-lock event. …”
