“Safety Issue. The raised cruise control speed set button on the steering wheel is prone to being touched when rotating the steering wheel while making sharp turns when driving through parking lots at low speed. If the distance cruise was previously set at say 45 mph the last time it was used, and the set button is very briefly hit upward when rotating the wheel through your hands to the left, it can inadvertently cause the truck to start accelerating to that previously-set speed. The cruise button needs to be programmed such that at certain steering angles it will not respond to inputs. …”
