“While launching a boat. Truck was in park and boat off the trailer. I was out of truck 30' on the dock reaching for boat rope ( was a single person boat launch). I heard a loud pop and the truck went into the lake till it hit the dock. Several witnesses to this story. Glad I didn't have to go behind the truck to undo my boat winch. I would have been killed.”

“- Multiple system failure. Truck presented with oil or ATF leaking from the transmission bell housing and transmission inspection port cover. First detected by me at 30k mile oil change. Prior to this, my wife and I both complained that the truck was very slow to get into gear from a stop, especially while towing. Engine would rev and then finally dump power, spinning the rear tires. Additionally encountered hunting for gears on the highway. - Second failure. 24 AUG. …”

“Supposedly The oil cooler ended up failing causing oil to be pumped into the cooling system at 26000 miles 8 months after purchase. A low oil message popped up upon start up looked under the hood a noticed no oil on the dip stick and a coolant reservoir full of jet black oil (supposed to be a bright red) and a fluid level higher than the normally observed coolant level. Thankfully happened in my drive way. It could have left me stranded had the engine completely run out of oil/overheated etc. …”

“I purchased my 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD new from Wilsonville Chevrolet in Oregon. Since owning the vehicle, I have experienced a noticeable shutter/vibration at highway speeds, consistently between 70–75 mph, whether towing or not. The shutter feels like it is coming from the transmission or driveline, and it occurs on multiple road types and conditions. I reported this issue to Wilsonville Chevrolet, but they told me they “could not duplicate” the problem and offered no repair. …”

“While driving at a speed of around 40 mph on a paved city street in Bozeman, MT, I heard and felt a Super loud clunk in my Chevy engine transmission or drive train.. I immediately stopped to see if something ran into the vehicle. No apparent visual damage of any kind. It felt and sounded like like something jammed within the transmission or drive train. The truck has less than 12k miles and has been babied so far. I love the truck. Oil level is normal and nothing leaking underneath..I took it immediately to Billion GMC in Bozeman. …”
