“On february 14 2019, I went outside to warm up my car. 10 minutes later while the car was still parked the whole engine was engulfed in flames. Fire department was called to put out the fire. No recent work had been done to the vehicle. The only work ever done in the 4 years I owned it were, new tires, new battery (in the back seat) and oil changes.”
NHTSA complaint #11186020, filed 2019-03, 130,000 miles“My car decided recently to start acting weird and the engine power went low and traction control went off and then my car would barely run. It says it could be the throttle body. It had done it twice since saturday and starts running ok afterwards but want to see what's wrong and why it just started doing this. Never had any trouble till then.”
NHTSA complaint #11204382, filed 2019-04, 59,000 miles“When driving over 70mph on the eway, the service traction control and service stabilitrak comes on. After driving like that for a few minutes the car starts jerking and reduces speed! I have taken it to a chevy dealership and also midas and they tell me there is nothing they can see. This is very dangerous driving in the eway with my children.”

Causing me to apply brakes whether I am traveling at 35 MPH , 45, 55, 60, 70, even in a school zone at 15 MPH. Also, I have concerns about the driver seat,”
NHTSA complaint #11005513, filed 2017-07, 63,593 miles“Without warning the vehicle loses power and shuts down. The check engine light comes on. When I shut the car off and wait a minute it will start up again with no problem. When I've tried to get a program reading from a repair shop, they were unable to do so because the check engine light had reset itself and no reading was available. At other times the car wouldn't start at all... And I have recently replaced the battery.”
