“Car is having a shift to park error message. I am unable to leave the car in parked position without restarting the vechicle several times and moving shifter to Park, Nuetral and Reverse Several times. There shows no recalls on my car. However this has to be a saftey issue covered under warranty. I transport my children in this car and dont want any incidents with the car rolling away hurting us or others. I need help resolving this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11741843, filed 2026-06

“The front passenger door does not open from the interior causing passenger to be trapped within. The only way to open passenger door is from the exterior. I took Traverse to GM dealership on September 30, 2025. GM dealership removed door panel, and stated the front door lock cable was not attached to door handle assembly. Traverse was repaired on October 1, 2025. The charge was $199.99 plus tax. I purchased this car used in July 2024.”

NHTSA complaint #11691059, filed 2025-10

“I have noticed several instances where my vehicle does not go in park when I put it in park. The engine still runs after turning off because of this and sometimes I don't catch that it has not locked in park and I get out of it and the vehicle will roll”

NHTSA complaint #11638503, filed 2025-01

“About 1 week ago, I began getting Shift To Park warnings/notifications when I would park the car and turn off the engine. To make it stop, I usually have to turn the car back on, shift to a different gear, shift back to Park, wiggle the gear shift around side to side and back and forth within the Park gear. Sometimes it will have remedied when I attempt to turn the car off the second time, and other times I need to do the same procedure again. …”

NHTSA complaint #11578875, filed 2024-03

“I just purchased the vehicle there was an open recall that was never taken care of. I took it to the dealership and the front exhaust pipe is cracked and leaking which was the original recall”
