“At times, but it's happened at least 12 in the past 10 months, there is away that a person can sit in the passenger side seat or sometimes by adjusting it that will make the airbag light come on. All I have to do is reach underneath the seat and jiggle the wires a little and it goes off. It occurs at different times.”

NHTSA complaint #11365935, filed 2020-10, 108,000 miles

“Occupant classification module in the passenger seat fails unexpectedly causing airbag light on and shut down of the entire vehicle airbag system. Similar to the s09/NHTSA 16v-114, but vehicle was not part of that recall campaign.”
