NHTSA complaint #11342355, filed 2020-07, 1 miles

“The engine dies 4 to 5 times on the road after filling up the tank, it happens if I take my foot off the gas pedal to slow down or to stop, it is stressful when you loos control of the car on the streets especially if you are turning on a corner. It started on july 1918 and it has happened for the 15 times that I had filled up the car with gas with no exceptions. I keep records of dates, my mileage and used gas.”

NHTSA complaint #11218730, filed 2019-06, 74,963 miles

“When I'm driving around 55 miles per hour on the highway or bellow the car once to surge and stall in the middle of driving. It will also stall stationary at a red light or stop sign but not all the time, seems after filling my tank up as when it starts acting. I'm on a quarter tank now in my car still keeps wanting to stall”

NHTSA complaint #10807828, filed 2015-12, 112,000 miles

“My car started stalling and choking for 2-3 minutes after filling up the gas tank. It actually turns off 2-3 times with-in a block or two of the gas station and sometimes there is a 3-10 second delay when I shift from p or n into d. This first started in august and continues to happen. I've changed gas stations and it continues to happem”

NHTSA complaint #10567251, filed 2014-02, 121,000 miles

“After filling up with fuel at bp gas station my engine sped up 300 RPM and shut-off in the station. I restated it and it ran with a slight hesitation. I could smell raw fuel coming out of the exhaust. It stalled 3 more times within 20 mins. One time on a sharp curve in the road. I had no power steering; good thing it wasn't my wife driving.”
