“The temperature reading is running toward hit. I was told that the radiator fan is not strong enough to keep the radiator cooled off. I looked online and saw this is happening in most cars this make model and year. I have to stop driving the car for a while to let the car cool off. This is happening in motion on the street and highways.”
NHTSA complaint #11325616, filed 2020-05, 138,340 miles“While driving the car it shuts off or stalls at any given moment. It has tried to stall while driving 80 MPH, stalled at traffic lights, etc. Can be very dangerous. We took to a mechanic and the car did not stall while it was there so they were unable to find anything wrong. The next day it happened again, and again and again. I have a video that I can share but I cannot upload it.”
NHTSA complaint #11052582, filed 2017-12, 88,700 miles“The dealership earnhardts had me pay 100 in cash for a recall==automatic transmission cup plug 05v460000. I have receipt. The part that controls placing car in d, r, n... Was stuck in park. I had to get car towed and pay for the repair.”
NHTSA complaint #11051325, filed 2017-11, 71,082 miles“Vehicle is stuck in park and will not shift out of it. Chrysler is aware a problem exists but conveniently says this car is out of the build date for being affected therefore I'm crazy and it should be an out of pocket expense for me.”
NHTSA complaint #11022623, filed 2017-09, 67,000 miles“I was driving at 70mph 2:30 am on the highway at night right before a curve the headlights shut off due to the main computer 'tpim'.in essence it kills all auto features immediately including the headlights. It's a common problem with these cars just look on some of the forms online. I'm upset because my wife could have been driving the car at the time. Chrysler should be held accountable sense it's an issue with this car in general. They also have issues with the lifters due to the poor quality of the lifters rollers and the mds system.”
