“The molding between the hood and the windshield flew off as I was driving in the freeway. I was driving like I normally do ( approx. 65mph), when fwy is clear of cars; this is not reason enough for this car part to fly off. Luckily, fwy was clear, if not, I could of had an accident since it affected my visibility while driving. Once I replace this, I wonder if next time... Will I have an accident? How to ask they install it so it doesn't fly off? …”
NHTSA complaint #10544491, filed 2013-09, 207,465 miles“I own a 1999 Chrysler Concorde lxi. I have had numerous problems with this car since I have owned it. Lot of little things. Window motors, cooling fan, transmission overspeed sensor, and the list goes on. Now the air conditioner is going out, having to service it about every 2 months. Why I am writing though is the steering. Seems like it is going bad. I feel this is a safety issue and read many complaints on your web site concerning this. Why hasn't a recall been ordered for this and the speed up issue?”
