2002: “This car has an ongoing recall for seat recliner bolts. I was driving and all of the sudden the seat back went flat and I fell backwards while driving. This will be the 4th time the seat belt recliner bolt broke. I believe I am due financial restitution even though I did not get injured or worse I could have killed someone at highway speeds. I was on a city street at 40mph when this happened.”

NHTSA complaint #11353366, filed 2020-09, 190,000 miles

2004: “I was driving west on hwy 8, going 5-10 miles under the speed limit and a vehicle at a side road was stopped at the stop sign. However, he then pulled out in front of me instead of waiting, so it was his fault. He even said it was his fault, and he was in a hurry as it was his last meal to deliver for meals-on-wheels. I have been dealing with back problems and medical appointments ever since, and still trying to work. …”

NHTSA complaint #11143951, filed 2018-10, 201,604 miles

1996: “I'm sorry, but I don't remember the exact milage on the car. The speed limit was 40 , but I was not going that fast because 1) the road was wet because it had just rained lightly, maybe 8 minutes prior 2) I saw the other driver's car was in my lane. I was hit pretty much head on. My air bags did not deploy! I had to be cut out of my car.thus my beautiful concord was a total loss. It had been in excellent condition.”
