“The wipers will come on at any time. Very startling when car is moving. This has happened at least 75 times since we bought it in 2008. Our mechanic (who is reputable and does quality work) has been unsuccessful several times trying to pin point the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10671211, filed 2015-01, 16,000 miles

“I bought my 2007 Chrysler Sebring brand new april 2007. After about a year (or less) and well under 20,000 miles the gas cap light would not go off, windshield wipers went off sporadically even in the off position, got stuck in park, fuel tank had to be replaced (which went out while I was driving), air bag light won't go off, etc. Had all these problems fixed only to have many of them recur. They were all fixed under warranty. …”

NHTSA complaint #10459719, filed 2012-05, 14,000 miles

“I purchased a 2007 Chrysler Sebring in november of 2007. On the way home I encountered issues with the heating and defrosting system and subsequently received a recall on this issue. Several months after the purchase of the vehicle I began to experience problems with the engine stalling upon coming to a normal stop or sudden stop with the engine stalling without notice. I have taken the car to the dealer numerous times and they continually tell me they can not find anything wrong with the car and the computer indicates no faults or error codes. …”

NHTSA complaint #10361785, filed 2010-10, 49,759 miles

“My airbag light comes on intermittently. Sometimes it blinks off and on a few minutes at a time as I drive for as long as I'm driving. Other times, it will stay on for 30 minutes or so continuously, then stay off. Or, I can go days without it coming on. I'm afraid it's going to either deploy for no reason while I'm driving and cause an accident, or not deploy if do have an accident. My brake lights come on almost every time I stop at a light. I have had the brakes checked by a mechanic, and they couldn't find anything wrong with them. My driver's side window has occasionally begun sticking . …”

NHTSA complaint #10370879, filed 2010-12, 50,000 miles

“Rear window is full of dots about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter. Looks like a default in the glass or the tint. We have tried washing both inside and out side of the window but it has no effect. This started about 3 years ago and has just been getting worst. It is so bad now you can not see out the back window using the rear view mirror.”
