“The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated while placing the car seat in the third row and attempting to latch the seat belt, the seat belt failed to latch as needed. The dealer was contacted and recommended having a Fire Station install the car seat in the vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was 70,000. The VIN was not available.”
NHTSA complaint #11506248, filed 2023-02, 70,000 miles“The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country. The contact stated that the rear driver's side sliding door failed to open as needed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V235000 (Electrical System) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 118,000.”

The consumer stated the hood flew open with so much force, it shattered the windshield. After the consumer pulled over, she discovered the hood not only un-latched, but the bolts had stripped and the entire mechanism broke away from the van.”
