“Passenger side headlight went out. I was able to tap on it for a few days to make it come back on thinking it was just a loose wire, but one night it completely went out. I brought it to pepboys and upon a closer observation they found that the socket was melted and had caused the headlight to burn out as well.”

NHTSA complaint #10555139, filed 2013-12, 39,768 miles

“Takata recall on saturday february 27 my car radio began to turn off and on the display screen it said battery saver mode. I assumed my battery needed to charge but later that night it started and within minutes it did it again but the auto shops were closed. I was unable to take it the next day and today monday february 29 as I drove to work my radio turned off again. After work I decided to drive to the auto zone to get the battery checked. …”

NHTSA complaint #10839080, filed 2016-02, 89,000 miles

“A module went bad in my 2012 Dodge Charger. The wiper blades were stuck on high, full speed, even with the control set in the off position. The night time lights would stay on, even with the dial set to auto, in the middle of the day. I was told by my dealership, that the part was on national back order and that there was no eta on when the part would be in. My dealership has left me stranded, with no loaner vehicle and no solutions.”

NHTSA complaint #10639489, filed 2014-09, 40,300 miles

“My vehicle stalled luckily as I was getting on to the 91 eastbound euclid st on ramp. My vehicle could have stalled in the carpool lane. Also I had just dropped off my 7 month old daughter at my mother's house.”

NHTSA complaint #10664329, filed 2014-12, 48,000 miles

“Vehicle driver side head light went out 2 weeks ago. Smelled like burnt plastic. Replaced the bulb with oem spec bulb. Same bulb went out, noticed part of the connector is melted. Have had the car for only a year. Called chrysler, they stated that my VIN was not part of the recall. Chrysler stated it was my responsibility to fix. 10,000 police edition chargers were recalled for the same problem. Halloween night almost hit 2 pedestrians turning left, because I couldn't see them.”
