“We had a catastrophic failure of the alternator which nearly caused a wreck with my entire family (infant daughter was in car at the time when the high heat came on and windows locked not allowing us to turn heat off or get out for a minute) while we were driving back home and had to have the vehicle towed and get it fixed at the dealership earlier this year around january. …”

“Takata recall I received a recall notice on this and have been to the dealer more than once and still am unable to get this resolved. This is a safety hazard and I don't know what I have to do to get this fixed. I don't want to end up in an accident due to it going off at a bad time.”

“Takata recall on saturday february 27 my car radio began to turn off and on the display screen it said battery saver mode. I assumed my battery needed to charge but later that night it started and within minutes it did it again but the auto shops were closed. I was unable to take it the next day and today monday february 29 as I drove to work my radio turned off again. After work I decided to drive to the auto zone to get the battery checked. …”

“The alternator had a recall and the airbag light on the dashboard keeps flashing when we drive the car. So we took the car to a Dodge jeep dealership and was told it is a seat deployment electrical wiring issue that needs repairing called left seat wiring harness and harness to thorax air bag. We were told the cost to repair $525 plus additional for labor even though it is a manufacturer defect. The car is 2012 Dodge Charger se with 80,904 miles”

“Air bag warning light went on. Took it to Dodge dealer and they said I have to replace side air bag. My car only has 18,400 miles on it. Of course it is not covered under warranty. Is this normal????”
