“Had this 2015 Dodge DART for 1 week. The airbag light came on and would not go off. I took it to a Dodge dealership and they quoted me 546.74 for a car that I bought a week ago, for a manufacturing issue that was obviously not caused by me. The light came on when the car was stationary after sitting for a day. This is clearly a safety risk for myself and the car.”

NHTSA complaint #11377746, filed 2020-12, 44,125 miles

“Hi on new years eve my brakes failed and I hit a dog going 45 MPH then on jan 5 a 18 wheeler came over on me and I hit my brakes going 70 MPH on interstate but never slowed down it did make a mark in the road but no.sounds or anything. I got over as much as I could I hit the guardrail then spun in two lanes and hit the other guardrail. Not one airbag came out. A few months before that my brake booster went out. Also I have a recall on my transmission but they don't have the part to fix it so it could be throwed I to neutral without a notice.. …”

NHTSA complaint #11309407, filed 2020-02, 80,000 miles

“Driving car normally. I parked in a parking lot and went into a store. When I came out to start the car it would not start. Charging indicator light and check engine light came on. Auto zone was in the plaza so I had the guy come out and do a diagnostic. Codes were p0123, p2122, p2127, p0222, u0401. When the guy went back into the store the car started. When I parked again 10 minutes later the check engine and charge light disappeared. Car ran fine for one day. About 33 hours after that incident I parked the car at a park for lunch from work. Took a walk and when I returned car never came on. …”

NHTSA complaint #11138905, filed 2018-10, 74,400 miles

“I was driving on the highway and the car started shaking when I reached 65 MPH. When I got to 70 MPH, it stopped I thought I was okay but I wasn't. The tire separated from the axle and the lower control arm fell off causing me to crash. I ran into a guardrail and if it wasn't there, the car wouldn't have stopped and I could possibly be dead. Upon impact, the air bags didn't deploy either. This is life threatening. Something needs to be done about this vehicle!!! This isn't the first time the control arm fell off. It fell off 3 other times to. I am fed up with chrysler. …”

NHTSA complaint #10919705, filed 2016-10, 25,000 miles

“Vehicle was involved in a front end collision. Speed before impact was 40-45 MPH. The approximate speed at impact was 30-35 MPH. A car turned in front of the vehicle with very little time to react. The front air bags did not deploy though the front end was damaged and the vehicle was not driveable.”
