“Several different incidents, in motion, on highway, engine stalled, nearly rear ended by tractor trailer. On city street, stopped at red light, light turns green, entered intersection, engine stalled, vehicle behind me had to swerve to avoid hitting me, 3 passengers, 2 children. Several times same issue, engine always stalls without warning.”

NHTSA complaint #11327941, filed 2020-06, 78,000 miles

“My 2015 Dodge DART engine randomly shuts off when I drive it , I've brung it to multiple repair shops and they have all said that my car is fine no codes shows up on diagnostic. This is a major safety issue if no auto shop knows what's to do and is keep saying my engine is fine when obviously it isn't if it keeps on randomly shutting down in the middle of the street.”

NHTSA complaint #11152099, filed 2018-11, 80,000 miles

“While driving down my street and accelerating, the car stalled out. No warning lights on dash. Had a hunch and checked the oil. It was nearly bone-dry. Added two quarts and it appears to be functioning normally. I believe the issue to be excessive oil consumption. With the lack of warning light, and just unusual occurrence, I could have been killed. I'm just glad I wasn't on the freeway (as other DART owners I've talked to have been).”

NHTSA complaint #11396880, filed 2021-02, 86,000 miles

“Well for starters. My check engine light came on for a faulty thermostat. I went and had it replaced and now ever since I got that replaced I noticed my temperature gauge fluctuations. It has plenty of fluid inside the radiator so I don't know what the deal is. I started to notice it every time when I'm parked in one place. I need this problem to be resolved right away.”

NHTSA complaint #10969976, filed 2017-04, 45,000 miles

“Driving to work on interstate 696 driving through royal oak west bound, the engine just shuts off, and shows on the dash engine trouble and electric symbol as well, lucky I was in the left lane and was able to get over, but it has been doing this since I got the car , dealer states they fixed it 3 times still doing the same thing. I have all the papers work since it started at 5000 miles.”
