“The recall for the gear shift has been worked on by a Dodge service dealer and I'm still having issues if the gear sticking intermittently where I can't switch from drive to park and I get stranded in the highway. I am a single mom with a 5 month old and I am afraid for us. I have taken back to service for a recheck and they say everything is fine. It's not fine! This happens.”

“Car is stalling and cutting off while driving. Got an oil change. Car doesn't react to pushing on accelerator. Rpm rev after hesitating with foot on the gas. Car is shaking and running really hard. I believe its the transmission control module, which is common in Dodge darts. Its been recalled, but not on my model. Stalled in the middle of an intersection. Had to restart car 3 times.”

However, there was no on on the rd when this happened. NHTSA complaint #11255146, filed 2019-09, 80,000 miles

“While driving at a fairly high speed within the speed limit my clutch just dropped to the floor and the manual stick shift shifted into gears on it's own jumping and not needing the clutch to shift. Led to total immobilization with cars behind me, I luckily made it over to a dirt area between the road and a ditch safely.”
