“As I was driving home, all of the dash warning/service lights came on. At the same time, my turn signals, brake lights, windshield wipers, hazard lights, and all gauges malfunctioned. I believe this to be an issue with the front control module .”

NHTSA complaint #10948118, filed 2017-01, 145,000 miles

“I was driving in a straight line when it started to down pour. I turn the wipers on high and the drivers side wiper stopped moving and got tangled with the passenger side wiper which remained functional. Dealer informs me over the phone that the repair will be between $450 to $500.”

NHTSA complaint #10577537, filed 2014-04, 118,643 miles

“On the evening of 6-28-07 while driving home from work during a thunderstorm the windshield wipers were running. The rain intensified so I switched the wipers to high speed suddenly the left (driver's side wiper stopped working and jammed against the running right wiper. Luckily there were no cars in front of me and I was on a stretch of road where I could slow down and get over to the shoulder. …”

NHTSA complaint #10194950, filed 2007-06, 50,518 miles

“On dec 19 2008 as I was driving home during a severe thunderstorm when my driver side wind shield wiper suddenly stopped working and got tangled up with the passenger side wiper that continued to work normally. This happened minutes before I was about to enter the freeway so luckily I was in a place where I could safely pull over. I tried to wait out the storm but it was getting really bad so I had to drive at 20-30 MPH with my hazard lights on. …”

NHTSA complaint #10255124, filed 2009-01, 48,098 miles

“2 problems: 1) even though our local dealership is insistent that we don't have a recall, I can see a recall on your page about windshield wiper motors. Our wipers come on every time we start the vehicle, and they work sporadically. Sometimes while they're on, they won't come on at all, as mentioned in the recall information. Why isn't mine covered? 2) biggest problem: several times (upwards of ten times) I have been going slow, usually making a turn, and my engine stalls. I have to turn the key off and then restart, and I'm okay again. …”
