“Vehicle fluctuates in RPM's upon starting vehicle, while stopped in traffic and while driving down the road. Vehicle also will randomly stall with no warning while in park, while stopped at traffic signals, pulling into intersections and also while driving down the road. Upon stalling I have an extremely short amount of time to pull over before I loose complete ability to steer the vehicle. Vehicle has random violent shifting while driving. Problems began about 90,000 miles and has gotten progressively and severely worse the past 3 months.”

NHTSA complaint #11033251, filed 2017-10, 90,000 miles

“Driving on the nj turnpike the engine light suddenly came on and then the engine locked up. The truck is regularly maintained and has not had any accidents prior to this. The car is not even 7 full years of age yet. Called chrysler and they refuse to help out due to age and miles. How does a car in great running condition just stall and die while driving?”

NHTSA complaint #10587145, filed 2014-05, 107,000 miles

“I was leaving the gas station & the vehicle started jumping up & down like a bucking horse. There was temporary power loss as well as loss of steering. The vehicle displayed a bas/esp error & as well as a traction control error.”

NHTSA complaint #11161995, filed 2018-12, 199,000 miles

“When slowing down vehicle stalls, in traffic, intersections, and freeway at high speeds. Water leaking in from discontinued cowl panel deterioration allowing water to freely fall all over plugs and coil packs.”

NHTSA complaint #11182614, filed 2019-02, 72,080 miles

“The vehicle stalls/loses power while driving down the road, it gives no warning and once the vehicle loses power you lose control of steering and come to an abrupt stop. This leave the vehicle stranded wherever you are with little to no way to safely pull to the side of the road or highway. This is an ongoing issue with this vehicle, it has been into the dealership multiple times and they have continuously failed to find or solve the issue. …”
