“I've had a few recalls on the truck. Several listed wiring. They've all been 'corrected' or checked by a dealer. My truck caught fire and burned all the electrical under the hood today. Less than a month since the 'electrical' recall was supposedly repaired. It was stopped but running at a gas station after a short 3 minute drive.”

NHTSA complaint #11110062, filed 2018-07, 64,500 miles

“Car randomly shut off in the middle of the road while driving, no warnings. Shut off could not steer as steering while locked up & could not brake as brake pad was hard and locked up as well. Got it to the side of road, it started right back up but shut off again not even 2 minutes later. Was able to get it off the road and started back up but puttered as all the lights flashed inside of the car. I had my kid in the car I am terrified.”

NHTSA complaint #11407831, filed 2021-04, 170,000 miles

“While driving my car surges at times. I can lose power at any given speed and then suddenly my car will jerk fast. Sometimes when driving slow to go around a roundabout it will just lose power and barely go. While at a stop but in drive, the motor will vibrate. This has been ongoing since I purchased my Durango. Seems to be getting much worse. Only 54,000 + miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #10979178, filed 2017-04, 54,000 miles

“Within about the last 6 weeks my SUV has been stalling while driving in heavy traffic areas which is highly dangerous & I lose all control of my vehicle I have contacted the Dodge dealership where I purchased this vehicle from & they are doing the bare minimum to correct this issue!!!! Knowing my vehicle has active recalls!!!”

NHTSA complaint #11057528, filed 2017-12, 60,290 miles

“For the past 2 weeks my Durango has been shutting off while driving latest incident 60mph on the highway. The vehicle has restarted each time so far. I looked up a recall 15v115000, 14v-530. These both state they are not for my vehicle by VIN, however by year it is.”
