“I had an electrical fire in the headliner behind the passenger sun visor today 7/18/18. My vehicle was repaired prior in 2014 related to the recall concerning this wiring. Shortly after starting the vehicle and driving, smoke started rolling out from behind the headliner. I pulled into an auto shop and they located the source of the fire.”

“I have 2013 Dodge Durango sxt and I bout it from mike alberts dealership in cincinnati, ohio. A little over a year I bought it, it started having issues with the truck cutting off when I hit bumps. The headlights keep going out, I have to replace the the bulbs and then finally replaced the harness that house the bulbs because the original one was fried. Over time the ones that I bout are beginning to burn as well causing the bulbs to go out. When I take the truck back to the dealership, they say they have can't figure out what the issue is when it comes to the truck cutting off. …”

“Takata recall sometimes after the car has been driven long or short drives and turned off for a short period of time, when I go to start the engine the starter will grind/engine turns over but will not start this issue was suppose to be taken care of in the summer of 2015. Dealer had our car for over two months waiting on parts but the issue is starting to occur again!(electrical) also I find at different times the interior lights/gauge lights/indicator lights that are on and stay on for a few miles like there is a short in the electrical system. …”

NHTSA complaint #10817479, filed 2016-01, 38,000 miles

“The dash indicator for the right turn signal began flashing rapidly. Upon inspection I found that the right rear turn signal was not functioning. Since my dealer is over 50 miles away I was able to easily remove the tail light and replace the bulb. Since that incident I have replaced 3 more bulbs. Today's replacement made me investigate more closely and found that the bulb was ok but it had tilted slightly. Manually moving the bulb caused the bulb to function again. Is the socket faulty? The right signal has never stopped working.”
