“Brake system stopping power is greatly reduced. This vehicle has already had the brake booster recall completed several months ago. The problem has just occurred yesterday. Vehicle was in motion on the freeway, the lack of braking power caused me to swerve into traffic to avoid slamming into a school bus I was behind, and narrowly avoid a head on collision with another vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11172404, filed 2019-01, 80,000 miles

“Car randomly shut off in the middle of the road while driving, no warnings. Shut off could not steer as steering while locked up & could not brake as brake pad was hard and locked up as well. Got it to the side of road, it started right back up but shut off again not even 2 minutes later. Was able to get it off the road and started back up but puttered as all the lights flashed inside of the car. I had my kid in the car I am terrified.”

NHTSA complaint #11407831, filed 2021-04, 170,000 miles

“Please note that we received a notification for a p14/NHTSA 14v-154 in the mail regarding the brake booster on our 2013 Dodge Durango. We notified the dealership months ago regarding this recall and were told that we would be placed on a waiting list and never heard back. We would like action taken to have this issue fixed asap regarding the brake booster.”

NHTSA complaint #10671843, filed 2015-01, 10,000 miles

“For the past 2 months we have been having problems with this vehicle it's been stalling on me, weather if we are on the highway or in town. Now the amazing thing is that it comes back on, on its own without us touching anything on it, but on the mean time we lose the brakes and steering control at high speed on the highway. The dealer has done all the recalls on it in the past two weeks and still can't find the problem. …”

NHTSA complaint #10895413, filed 2016-08, 40,676 miles

“My Durango stalls when I'm driving and restarts on its own. I had the fuel pump relay changed already which I had to pay out of pocket because Dodge doesn't have the replacement part. My vehicle continues to stall with out notice and am scared to drive it. I took it back to the dealership and they kept my car for a week. The car never stalled when the drove it around a few times. This car is very dangerous due to the fact that it stops at any moment and you lose complete power. At anytime you could crash without notice.”
