“This letter is a written notice to Dodge/chrysler corporation that I am tired of the way they are treating me. I purchased a 2018 Dodge dealer gt, with only 2,800 miles. It was a dealer demo and it has been nothing but problems. Starting from inside of interior falling apart, which was fixed by dealer. However, at 8,000 miles or so the engine started developing an intermittent rattle, that has gotten worse over time. I have tried communicating with Dodge with very little help. Right now I have an open case with Dodge but so far my case manager has not been any help. …”

NHTSA complaint #11298892, filed 2020-01, 8,000 miles

“I went through cheetah car wash with my 2018 Dodge Durango and upon exiting the car wash and receiving green signal to drive I shifted from n to d and started slowly driving toward the vacuum cleaning area. As I was slowly pulling into the parking lot, the vehicle suddenly accelerated and hit the post and building, causing it to stop. I called the police to the scene and they had the vehicle towed to basham towing service in bowling green, ky. Please investigate this vehicle for mechanical failure, because if this had happened on interstate, this could have ended way worse. …”

NHTSA complaint #11217405, filed 2019-06, 15,000 miles

“I received recall 22V-426, the dealer reflashed my vehicle but the problem still exists. My brake lights stay on, stability, auto park, traction control and engine lights come on. The dealer now says I need to replace the exact part listed in recall at my own cost. My state inspection has expired and fails a new safety inspection due to this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11571456, filed 2024-02

“The center hate LED brake light has water in it and shorted out making visibility of the rear of the vehicle hard to see at night. Dealer told me this is a very common issue and wants over $1000 for me to order another. Dodge needs to fix this and make it right as it's a design issue. This is a serious safety concern and will not drive with my family in the vehicle until able to fix it.”

NHTSA complaint #11584283, filed 2024-04

“I had a water pump go out and my battery died while fixing it but when I gave it a jump and started it my ABS and stability lights were on and haven’t turned off. It’s been over a year since they turned on. There is a recall for this on 2022 models why does it not apply to my vehicle?”
