“Driving on highway at 70mph. The car turned off and the traction control idiot light turned on. I managed to struggle to get it over to the side of the highway (I-294 in chicago is not easy!) and put the car in park. With the car in park, I was able to restart the car and continue on our trip. This is the 3rd time this has happened since november 2019.”

“My 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan , I just purchased this van from car company in warsaw indiana! I took it back to car company twice to see what's wrong with it and these more or less told me they couldn't help! While driving down the road my van shuts off! I lose brakes, steering all power ! Put in neutral start it and keep going! Sometimes 2 or 3 times in a 5 mile radius.”

NHTSA complaint #11328085, filed 2020-06, 13,600 miles

“I bought my 2010 van in 2017. March 1st 2019 my complete and brake control module has completely failed. My brake, ABS, esp bad and traction sensor lights remain on my dash board, and I have no emergency braking at all. I have no idea how a complete ABS braking system computer can just fail. The light came on while I was driving in traffic.”

NHTSA complaint #11184501, filed 2019-03, 109,778 miles

“The key fob locks the car if lightly bumped. The danger is leaving the keys in the car and closing a door which triggers the lock. This could lock one out in freezing weather or lock a child in the van when parked and closing the drivers door then trying to open the rear door to get a child out. I spoke to my office employee and similar problems with Dodge key fobs happen to her and a friend.”

NHTSA complaint #11301751, filed 2020-01, 116,000 miles

“Vehicle shuts off while in motion when I hit a bump. It happens at any speed. I have had to coast to the shoulder of the interstate in order to restart the vehicle. This very problem was recalled in vehicles manufactured through may 2010, but my vehicle is outside of the recall, as it was manufactured in september 2010. This is a very serious safety issue.”
