“My 2016 dgc started buzzing when ever you lock and unlock door. It started a month ago and now it drained my battery. Mechanic thinks it's related to the door. The cost to get it fixed is over $500, I'm a disabled vet I can't afford that, as well as there hundred of other people complaining of the same issue with the 2016”

NHTSA complaint #11416398, filed 2021-05, 50,000 miles

“Rear sliding door suddenly became stuck in the locked position and I am unable to open the door in any way. This is causing my children to have to exit the van on the traffic side of the car. This would also leave my child trapped in the car should an emergency arise or an accident occur on the other side of the van.”

NHTSA complaint #11414534, filed 2021-04, 32,000 miles

“Driver side slider door is locked shut and I cannot open it. I believe the actuator has gone bad. Dodge needs to stand up and take responsibility for the repair on this. There are many, many complaints on this item. The repair cost is way too much considering all the complaints. Stand up and take ownership for your products. That is the best way to earn loyalty from buyers.”

NHTSA complaint #11355492, filed 2020-09, 135,000 miles

“Takata recall - our problem is that the sliding side doors will not open. One played out about 6 months ago and the other played out a week ago. I've took it to be checked out at auto zone and none of the fuzzes were blown out. By it being considered a new vehicle the side doors shouldn't be having any problems!”

NHTSA complaint #11196931, filed 2019-04, 74,079 miles

“The latch system in my sliding doors are going out. Apparently this is a very common problem with Dodge vans, especially 2016 models. I only have 58k on the van and have only owned it 2 years. I maintain the van well. This is ridiculous. A loud buzzing sound occurs anytime I push any buttons or exit the vehicle.”
