“Can shut off when driving I have to come to a full stop put in park and turn it back on. While this happens you lose all-powerful no brakes no starting no gas. Very scary I was traveling around 45mph when it shut off this time I was completely in head on lane when I was able to steer it back.”

NHTSA complaint #11179737, filed 2019-02, 135,000 miles

“My car engine would turn but not start intermittently or stall. Checking the internet, I discovered it is a chronic problem with these vehicles, where the fuel pump relay goes bad. I made a test cable w/LED to monitor my fuel pump relay and it confirmed that this is the issue. I see that later models have kits available to address the identical issue, but for some reason do not apply to my model/year,”

NHTSA complaint #11140028, filed 2018-10, 125,000 miles

“February my husband and I financed this car and within less than one month we been experiencing one issue after another. First, the heater hose had a hole in it then after that was the radiator then after we replaced those two now we have a issue with the exhaust modifier as well a issue with the brakes today the tires locked up on us. Could be related to the issues thats been reported on the newer Dodge grand caravans.”

NHTSA complaint #11287028, filed 2019-12, 155,733 miles

“I was driving on a 2 lane state route last night around 55 miles per hour. I was behind 4 vehicles. My 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan has 113,982 miles on it suddenly went wild open, I passed 2 of the cars and thank god there was no one coming the other way. I was on the brakes as hard as I could push. I pulled in between the 2 middle cars and had to turn the engine off and get to the side of the road. What can be done about this? Thanks, would appreciate any help I can get.”

NHTSA complaint #11258293, filed 2019-09, 113,982 miles

“I was pulling into a parking spot at sam's club in woodbury, mn. As I was pulling in, my van rapidly accelerated and hit the car parked across from me head on. It felt as if I was riding a bumper car and I was whipped around a corner. My vehicle suffered damages at approximately $2600--so it wasn't just a simple bump. I am reasonably certain that this was not user error on my part. The brakes were repaired approximately 2 weeks before the accident.”
