“While driving at approximately 40 MPH accelerator pedal became stuck in open position, and vehicle started to gain speed, went to full throttle. Driver shifted into neutral which did not stop vehicle . Driver had to ride on brakes, possibly causing damage to tires and brakes. The throttle was reving at high speed after the vehicle was turned off because the cruise control would not disengage.”
