“When driving on interstate 74 just west of goodfield, illinois on 7-25-15, I sped up to about 60 MPH and all of a sudden the steering and front end started to shake and it shook until I lowered the speed down under 50 MPH and continued on for about 7-8 miles. When returning I didn't get back up to 60 MPH. This vehicle has had this problem but not as great since I bought it back in november of 2013.”

NHTSA complaint #10743732, filed 2015-07, 104,517 miles

“While traveling on interstate at ~ 65 MPH, I hit a series of bumps that caused the front suspension to shake violently. This only subsided after slowing to < 35 MPH and (fortunately) avoiding a crash. After doing some research, this is consistent with death wobble . I am amazed that there is not a recall regarding this issue. I had new ball joints and tie rod ends installed ~ 6 months ago.”

NHTSA complaint #10499993, filed 2013-02, 68,251 miles

“Driving down the road my front left struts blew out without warning and at same time the front sway bar broke off on same side it was hard to control I slowed down n stopped and had truck hauled to dealership dealership wouldn't change both front struts said other one looked fine charged me 750 dollars and one month latter opposite side strut blew out n sway arm snapped off.. And now I have problems where the rear end of my truck walks all over the road.”

NHTSA complaint #10691004, filed 2015-02, 139,000 miles

“I was traveling 50 to 55 MPH my vehicle veered to the left out of control. I attempted corrective steering with no response from the steering. I hit the guardrail direct with the front of the vehicle causing substantial damage. On 1/2/2014 I went and looked at my truck and noticed that part of the steering knuckle was broke off from the center of the hole for the tie rod and missing. The tie rod shaft was not bent indicating the steering knuckle may have failed.”

NHTSA complaint #10559057, filed 2014-01, 89,000 miles

“At highway speeds of 70 MPH, hitting a bump at highway speeds sends the truck into violent almost uncontrollable bouncing with the only way to settle the truck down is to slam on the brakes reducing the speed in highway traffic to 40 MPH. The truck bounces violently and tracks into other lanes. No solution from dealer, I have owned this truck since new, well maintained. But repeated front end replacements and repairs, some recalls, some at my expense. This is being epidemic.”

NHTSA complaint #10575719, filed 2014-03, 125,000 miles
