“I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my Ford vehicle’s infotainment screen failure, which has been identified under a recall but currently has no available remedy or repair timeline. When the screen goes blank or becomes unresponsive, I lose access to critical safety features, including the rearview camera, which is federally required. This significantly increases the risk of accidents while reversing, especially in areas with pedestrians. …”
NHTSA complaint #11735509, filed 2026-05“Ford has an SSM-53981 recommended fix for window rattle issue. My front windows have rattled since day one (received Bronco 11/2021). Many people on the forums complain about this issue. I originally brought the truck in within the 1st year of ownership, dealer attempted adjustments (only fix at that time) but it did not fix the problem. Now I'm at just under 90k miles and well out of warranty and Ford finally has a fix. The fix would cost upwards of $800 in parts alone. And I will state that the window rattle is loud and sounds like the window is about to shatter.”
NHTSA complaint #11671693, filed 2025-07“It has now been 1 year since the recall 25V455 was issued for my 2021 Ford Bronco. I use my Bronco for business but due to the recall, it has been unable to be used due to legal reasons in my state. I have lost thousands of dollars from the vehicle sitting and Ford continues to fail to provide a timely remedy. The date of the recall being issued has been pushed back over a dozen times and now shows no eta . They have no communication with their dealers as to what the delay is and Ford Customer Service will not disclose anything other then we will notify you when it becomes available . …”
NHTSA complaint #11748607, filed 2026-07“NHTSA is showing that there is an open recall on this vehicle. I have spoken to FORD Corporate and also taken the vehicle to 2 different dealers who have all communicated the same thing: There is no recall, nor has there ever been a recall for this vehicle. I have asked the dealer to report this to NHTSA and they said that they cannot due to there is no recall to report and they've never reported a recall. I have called Ford twice, NHTSA twice and gone to 2 dealers. No one at NHTSA has been willing to help get the information corrected. …”
NHTSA complaint #11525662, filed 2023-06“Was driving my son to school, maybe 30 mph when all of a sudden I heard some clicking noises from the engine. The power dropped and I was barely able to pull over to the side of the busy road out of harms way. Engine dead. Only warning lights I got were a forward sensor failure and then a message telling me to pull over put it in park and restart. I tried but I was not able to restart, the starter fired but didn't seem to engage with anything. Got towed to the dealer. Dealer confirmed a dropped valve and engine failure. Awaiting a replacement engine.”
