2011 Ford Escape Wheels Problems

“Power steering just randomly went out while driving. I know previously there was a recall for this, however I've only had the car a couple years and it's just now a problem. If I turn the car completely off and restart it starts working again. Also, there was a recall for a front bearing part, I'm having issues there as well. Front right.”

“I have only owned my pre-owned vehicle for 3 years and have had to replace driver side front bearing 2x's, rear wiper motor twice and now vehicle will stall while in motion and at stops for traffic lights. I have always driven fords and feel that this is something with the assembly line because I learned of another from the same assembly line that had the same problems.”

“First power door locks quit working, next tail gate won't open, tire pressure dash light warning comes on yet there are no problems. Check motor dash light goes on and off often yet they find no problem. Latest is power steering went out with no warning while driving again plugged into checking machine no problem. Steering wheel shakes continuously while stopped. And believe suspension is giving out. Not a car that I would recommend to anyone. Has horrible blind spots. All occurrences happen while driving or stationary. All this has happened in the life of our ownership. …”

“Purchased and had mounted (4) goodyear assurance tripletred on or about 15apr2015 by Ford dealer. 90,000 mile maintenance, including routine tire rotation, was completed by same dealer 24jun2016. No damage or defects were noted by dealer at that time. On 02jul2016, while driving on interstate at approximately 65 MPH, I noticed the low air pressure light come on and slowed my speed to 60 MPH.
