“Traveling at 55mph going east-a truck with trailer was traveling west carrying those large round hay bales one of the hay bales fell off. The hay bale hit the pavement right in front of me and I was unable to avoid hitting the bale. There is extensive frontal damage, windshield smashed in continued on top of my vehicle damaging the roof. The driver and passenger door did not open- I had to kick the passenger door several times to be able to get it open just enough to get out of the vehicle. None of my airbags deployed and my seatbelt did not lock up. …”

The approximate failure mileage was 99,965.”

As a result, the contact crashed into a curb and the air bags failed to deploy. The contact did not sustain any injuries. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for repairs. The contact was unsure about what part needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.”
