“The truck was in park I had stepped out to check the mail with my children in the truck the next thing I knew my truck was moving like it was in gear I jumped in pressed the break and it still showed it in park I pushed into park harder and it stopped.. I was not on a hill or anything to make it roll and it was actually moving like it was put into gear”

NHTSA complaint #11229389, filed 2019-07, 96,000 miles

“As I was driving my truck went crazy on my dash every electronic reading was wack out of commission speed went to zero on my odometer and from six speed to 1 my truck would not run any faster but my RPM guage was sky high until I realized I had to put my truck in neutral to pull over to turn off my truck.”

NHTSA complaint #11387291, filed 2021-01, 126,000 miles

“Turned on the truck to warm up and turned on the defroster on the back window because it was cold out. About 5min down the road we heard this very loud pop and the window completely shattered. Luckily it stayed intact or the glass would have gone all over my two year old son. Now I am being told it costs over $1000.00 to fix!”

NHTSA complaint #11060763, filed 2018-01, 120,000 miles

“My Ford F-150 (2012) was parked on my driveway. On 02/26/2021 around 8.27 pm,I opened door and got inside truck.as soon as I closed driver-side door , rear windshield shattered with a loud noise. I haven't put key in ignition even. The truck key was in my hand.”

NHTSA complaint #11398144, filed 2021-02, 54,229 miles

“While driving my pick up on a cold day with the rear window defroster on, one panel of the rear window shattered. During subsequent driving the rear window fell out of the frame into the bed of the pick up. I believe the defroster malfunctioned and overheated causing the panel to shatter because of the excessive heat being generated by the defroster versus the cold air outside the vehicle.”
