“The advancetrac system pops up and will either slow the truck down or shut it right off.. I had a mechanic look at it and it still continued to do it...I have to shut it all down and try to restart it will sometimes drive for a short time or go for days. This has been going on for over a year where it will also go months without happening.”

NHTSA complaint #11324832, filed 2020-05, 160,000 miles

“As experienced by many others, one of the fixed rear windows shattered while driving about 35 MPH in a straight line on a maryland state roadway that was in good condition. A very loud pop/crash alerted me to the damage. I could not identify any physical impact that caused the glass to shatter. This occurred on 4 mar 2019.”

NHTSA complaint #11186198, filed 2019-03, 56,500 miles

“My transmission is downshifting on its on when driving home without changing gears. I have to shut it off and wait before I can drive it again. I was in the flow of traffic when this happens and it is very scary. And it continues so I'm unable to drive it because it's to dangerous.”

NHTSA complaint #11413687, filed 2021-04, 200,000 miles

“I was driving on the highway I 95 and it was raining. My windows started to fog up. I turned on the defrosts. I heard a loud pop and my rear window shattered. In researching the problem on the internet, it appears it is a common problem on 10-14 f150's when turning on the rear defrost.”

NHTSA complaint #11342746, filed 2020-08, 117,000 miles

“My truck vibrates when driving. I've checked the fuel injectors, coil packs, gotten a tune up and it still does the same. I've had several mechanics (certified) pull codes and it keeps saying it is the coil packs (which ive replaced, no change). I was also told the truck had a short and for would have to take engine apart. Still don't know what the problem is!”
