NHTSA complaint #10543396, filed 2013-09, 10,600 miles“The vehicle shakes violently on the road when I go over a bump when traveling at 65mph or higher. I have to slow down to 50mph or below to get it to subside.”
NHTSA complaint #11326921, filed 2020-06, 155,892 miles“I was driving north on I-95 ,when the rear of my F-250 started moving side to side out of control. NHTSA complaint #10398832, filed 2011-05, 13,160 miles“Recently, while driving my Ford f250 truck, I have experienced the Ford's death wobble' on three separate occasions. After driving over a bump in the roadway, the front end starts wobbling to the point that I have to brake and pull over just to stay in control of my vehicle. When this death wobble' occurs, it causes the driver has to fight the steering wheel and apply braking just to stay in control of the vehicle. It is a real safety concern!!!! Recently, I have read several articles identify the problems with Ford's front end and their solutions to fix the fronts ends. …”
NHTSA complaint #10553836, filed 2013-11, 35,000 miles“High speed wheel oscillation occurred while driving the speed limit of interstate 275 around cincinnati, ohio. I hit a bump on the exit of the interstates bridge and the steering wheel shook really bad left and right. I had received a letter last year warning me about this condition. I did not think I had a problem with this truck until this happened. I was lucky that I did not crash this vehicle when the oscillation occurred. I researched this on the internet and several other owners for the f250 have had the same problem. Ford needs to fix this problem before someone gets killed!”
