“On august 5 I fell asleep and ran into the back of a truck stopped at a light. My knee air bag deployed but the steering wheel bag did not and the shoulder belt did not deploy causing me to hit the steering wheel very hard bruising my sternum and causing surrounding muscle inflammation that is still sore today.”

As of now, seat belt will no longer retract without physically pushing it back into the housing. Pretensioner still operates correctly.”
NHTSA complaint #10811983, filed 2015-12, 97,500 miles“The contact owned a 2014 baby trend hybrid 3-in-1 booster seat. While driving 25 MPH, another vehicle crashed into the rear of the contact's vehicle at a high rate of speed. The driver sustained whiplash and the child passenger was fatally wounded due to the impact of the crash. The seat belt did not secure the child during the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a yard and the booster seat was discarded. The contact could not diagnose what caused the failure. The manufacturer and the insurance company did not provide further disclosure on the investigation of the crash. …”
